Angelina Jolie’s affinity to knives is well-documented. For her son Maddox’s sixth birthday, Jolie bought him a hunting knife; she is also a practiced knife-thrower.

While it’s perfectly healthy to enjoy knives, it’s reported that Angelina Jolie frequently throws them at walls when she’s angry. That sort of anger management isn’t particularly healthy, so we’ve created a collection of alternative ideas for anger management.

Whether it’s through passive-aggressive online venting or hurling plates at the walls of Sarah’s Smash Shack, these strategies will allow Angelina Jolie to vent any anger or tension she might feel without putting her family in danger.

"Whether it’s through passive-aggressive online venting" LOL - that's me! :-) I enjoy relaxation methods as well.

Hehe, thanks A & S. I'm fascinated by Angelina Jolie's knife obsession, but prefer to get my own anger out through writing or reading.

@M...Sometimes reading causes me to get angry and disgusted. *SIGH* like yesterday when reading a story over at Fox about two prom-queen looking teenagers who spat on and groped alzheimer patients in a nursing home. Grrrr, what is wrong with people?

Well, I can't read news... I mean like, Harry Potter or old children's literature books like Charlotte's Web. There has to be a fictional escape for me.

Fox is always on the cutting edge of the news...

@Marissa, I love the Harry Potter books. Have you read the His Dark Material Trilogy by Philip Pullman? The first book is The Golden Compass (I was soooo disappointed in the movie). I devoured all three of them in no time fast.

Yes Sandra, I said that with a considerable amount of sarcasm. Fox is the worst place to seek news.
