Andrew Mcconnell Shows Us the Sad Side of Electronic Waste

The photos above are by Andrew McConnell and feature some of the saddest and eye-opening images of the West’s dumping ground of electronic waste in Ghana. The images captured make up a collection called ‘E-Waste,’ and showcase the sad reality that many in Ghana must face. This includes villagers selling electronic waste by the side of the road and children breaking apart monitors to get at the metal inside, which they sell to middlemen.

The ‘E-Waste’ collection is absolutely deplorable. It’s certainly a realistic look at the other side of the hyper-fast world we have become accustomed to.
