This is a simply brilliant idea that promotes Egypt and reading in one creative package. This translation combines the famous rabbit that wears fluffy clothes with the British Museum’s world-renowned expertise and scholarship.

The complete text of Beatrix Potter’s beloved ‘Tale of Peter Rabbit’ has been faithfully translated and transcribed page for page into hieroglyphics, using the script of a Middle Kingdom Egyptian. However, the illustrations in the book are the original full-color artwork created by Beatrix Potter.
