It’s all about rock & roll in the new Guess? by Marciano Fall / Winter 2008-9 campaign. For starters, the ads were photographed by superstar Bryan Adams. Then there is the style of the ads themselves which carries an unmistakably Amy Winehouse vibe.
Models Franziska Frank (for upcoming Spring/Summer ads) and Nicole Trunfio (Fall/Winter) were given the full Winehouse treatment from the trademark beehive to the black eyeliner.
A representative for Trunfio told the New York Post the new campaign, "mimics the singer’s iconic, thick, black eyeliner and infamous beehive, adding a little rock ‘n’ roll to their pin-up image.’’
"For our second season with Bryan, we wanted to capture the denim-rooted spirit of Guess by Marciano," said Marciano chief executive officer and co-chairman of the board of Guess?, Inc.
"We are pleased to have Franziska as the newest face of Guess by Marciano in this campaign as she invokes the glamorous spirit of our brand." he adds.
