America’s Next Top Model Cycle 13 castings in New York turned into a riot, leading to the arrest of three after six people were injured. “Thousands of ANTM hopefuls had come out that day, with many girls camping overnight in hopes of trying out early,” Top Model Gossip says. One of the hopefuls, Shirley, submitted the photo of the line at the NYC ANTM casting call seen above. The video shows the desperation and panic of the America’s Next Top Model hopefuls. “People were pushing, screaming, yelling at each other,” Lauren Musacchio told the New York Times. “It was chaos.” 1010wins says the “enthusiastic” crowd was manageable until the moment someone yelled “fire,” at which point the models began trampling each other. “Everyone got thrown everywhere,” Annina Manttari told the New York Times. “People were getting run over.” References: topmodelgossipFiled In: |
