 American Eagle Launches 77KIDS American Eagle, umbrella company to American Eagle Outfitters, Martin & Osa as well as intimates chain Aerie has added a new addition to their retail family; 77kids. American Eagle is entering the coveted children’s apparel business when other retailers are feeling the pressures of a slowing US economy. American Eagles CEO Jim O’Donnell is very confident they will taste success.  The retailer said the line will include clothing and accessories for children ages 2 to 10. The brand will launch online at www.77kids.com later this year, with U.S. stores planned for 2009
