Alton Towers 'YourDay' Program Sells You DVD of Personalized CCTV Foo
The Alton Towers theme park in the UK has implemented an unusual souvenir to its arsenal--personalized footage of you during your visit. With the 'YourDay' program, you take a free RFID wristband and enjoy your visit. As you go on rides, wait in line or pause for a snack, surveillance footage is captured of you and your party.
When you're ready to leave, you can then buy a DVD of 'YourDay' footage. In case any privacy flags are going off in your head--as they did in mine--this is what the Alton Towers website has to say about the footage: "We delete any unclaimed footage at the end of your visit so, if you don’t buy your personalised DVD before you leave, the moment will be gone forever."
