The Alton Towers theme park in the UK has implemented an unusual souvenir to its arsenal—personalized footage of you during your visit. With the ‘YourDay’ program, you take a free RFID wristband and enjoy your visit. As you go on rides, wait in line or pause for a snack, surveillance footage is captured of you and your party.

When you’re ready to leave, you can then buy a DVD of ‘YourDay’ footage. In case any privacy flags are going off in your head—as they did in mine—this is what the Alton Towers website has to say about the footage: “We delete any unclaimed footage at the end of your visit so, if you don’t buy your personalised DVD before you leave, the moment will be gone forever.”
