The Allstate Foundation and Serena Williams Partner for 'Signs' Ads

The Allstate Foundation recently partnered with celebrity athlete Serena Williams to raise awareness about the signs of financial abuse that can often restrict victims from leaving. According to the campaign: "financial abuse is one of the main reasons victims of domestic violence can't leave."

The campaign brings to light through a public service announcement titled 'Signs' the subtle or not so subtle ways abusers can financial restrict their partners. The video shows Serena Williams walking through a mirrored maze, blocked from leaving through the "signs" of financial abuse.

This campaign is the first initiative of The Allstate Foundation's new campaign with the tagline 'Know Financial Abuse. No Domestic Violence' and speaks to the unseen signs of domestic abuse and remove the stigma around it.
