The Algonquin Provides Free Favorite Book on Kindle

The Algonquin Hotel in Manhattan is known for housing some of the biggest literary heavyweights in contemporary history; William Faulkner, Gertrude Stein and Dorothy Parker have each been known to frequent the historic hotspot. Their newest amenity, however, a complimentary favorite book on Kindle, brings this historic hotel right into the tech-savvy present.

According to Springwise, the Algonquin Hotel’s digital book service launched in September of 2008 to coincide with National Literacy Month. Hotel guests receive a free Kindle loan that’s been loaded with their tome of choice beforehand.
