Alfred Hitchcock meets Barbie in this tribute to the his iconic film The Birds. Mattel is honour the 45th anniversary of The Birds with a Barbie version of the films leading lady. Barbie is modeled from the character Lydia Brenner, played by Jessica Tandy. From the soft green ensemble to the birds themselves (yes, they come with Barbie) she is quite realistic. I have to ask: is this the beginning of a Barbie/Hitchcock union? Are there Psycho Barbies on the horizon? Will the knives and shower curtain be sold separately?  Dressed in a re-creation of the stylish green skirt-suit worn by the film's ill-fated heroine in an iconic scene, Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" Barbie® Doll celebrates the 45th anniversary of the acclaimed film.
