The Alexander Lewis Resort 2014 Collection is talking clashes of culture this season with an idea that hits close to home for this up-and-coming Brazilian-born, based in London designer.

Simply knowing he's a Brazilian-London local; you can expect to see a mix of sartorial genres to form a resort combo that has yet to hit the market. However, the cultures in question are Asian expats and surfers. References in the collection are quite literal, implementing Mao-collared Qipao shirts and shibori dyeing techniques on the one hand, while board shorts and surfboard-shaped seams are on the other.

Even the show is captured in a blank-white set with nothing but surf-shaped neon lamps illuminating the background, all the while fashions appear crisp, clean and ready to hit the waves, rooting for miniskirts all the way.
