To rid ourselves of all our Halloween pumpkins, we could take a cue from Alexander Lamont and caste them in bronze. Or, we could just sit back and admire the work of this crafty artist, who has evoked the texture and real-life qualities of pumpkins, leaves, and jackfruit using bronze, shagreen (rough leather), and hand-blown glass. Self-taught designer, founder of the LAMONT design atelier, and boutique owner Alexander Lamont has created a collection called LAMONT/02 which includes pieces of art infused with his own cultural experiences from growing up in Kenya and India.
