While virtual reality began with gaming and has since grown to have technological, entrepreneurial and design applications, the launch of Alchemy VR means virtual reality will soon be integrated into storytelling as well. From Atlantic Productions, Alchemy VR is a London-based virtual reality content studio that will produce original content for both Oculus and Morpheus.

Between Facebook's acquisition of Oculus and the introduction of Project Morpheus by Sony, virtual reality has been making big strides lately. Atlantic Productions is an Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning production company recognized for its documentary films and educational programs, so it goes without saying Alchemy VR could create some truly revolutionary special effects. Their first project is in collaboration with Sir David Attenborough to examine some of Earth's earliest inhabitants in a completely computer generated world.
