With today’s stringent security guidelines and airlines’ spotty track record, I would dare to guess almost every response would be a definite “NO”.  That’s right, most people are disgusted with the relentless efforts the typical traveler has to go through just to get from Point A to Point B. In fact, ask any traveler, and you will be told of woes so painful that a recent survey showed the airlines are despised more than the Internal Revenue Service, according to the University of Michigan’s most recent survey of American customer satisfaction. Among others, the survey found that some of the most annoying problems with travel today are the numerous challenges associated with transporting baggage from the home to the final travel destination be it a hotel, condo, relative’s home, tradeshow or business. Well, you get the idea of the hassles with lost and mishandled baggage; all the way from the enormous amount of time wasted checking baggage to making sure the connections are made to waiting at the baggage carousel.
Consider what travelers go though just to transport their baggage on a typical trip. The travelers must first take their packed baggage from their home, to their car or other transportation, to the airport. When they arrive at their destination airport, they have to wait for their baggage at a crowded luggage carousel – and hope that it is not damaged, lost or otherwise delayed.
