Nike is releasing a refreshed version of the iconic Air Tech Challenge II shoes inspired by former American tennis star Andre Agassi and designed by legendary sneaker designer Tinker Hadfield.

The Nike Air Tech Challenge II shoe has a synthetic leather upper layer that makes light of the rigorous back-and-forth motion of tennis. Its external molded heel counter is made for a comfortable fit during long, grueling matches.

The Air Tech Challenge II's paint spatter accents are a metaphor for Agassi's powerful backhand and contributed to the speedy look of the shoes. Despite this, the shoe's design is not over-the-top and is forthright and honest, much like Agassi's style of play.

The Nike Air Tech Challenge II 'Clay Blue' edition is available at select Nike retailers worldwide as well as Nike's website. Stats for Retro Tennis Shoes Trending: Older & Average
