British photographer Muir Vidler has created a collection of images that captures aging rebels. The elderly men and women in these photographs present themselves with large grins, showing off their tattoos, breathing fire or gripping a skateboard.

The subjects are well into their 60s and beyond, yet they exude vitality and youth. Every individual who is branded with a tattoo expresses their love and admiration for their ink. Muir Vidler has found a fascinating group of elderly subjects to photograph who truly live life with no regrets.

Each image contains a individual or a couple who have broken stereotypes regarding age. One image features the aging rebel Isobel Varley wearing a high-waisted jean skirt, a black bra and black heels that expose much of her skin, which is completely covered in vibrantly inked tattoos. She says "I first got tattooed when I was 48... I’ve done some wild things in my life but I’ve no regrets. I love my tattoos and I’m really glad I’ve had them done."
