The Peak by architecture studio Grimshaw is an affordable housing solution that is specifically designed to prevent youth homelessness. The project is done in collaboration with Australian charitable organization Kids Under Cover.
The dwelling is essentially a single-story cube that is clad in dark metal and sustainably sourced timber. The aesthetic of the prefab unit is decisively modern and the glazed corner allows for a substantial influx of natural light.
