'Goodreads Deals' is looking to make affordable eBooks more accessible to its consumers. The service works by sending users an email when books that they could be interested in become highly discounted.

With eBooks becoming increasingly popular among those consumers with convenience in mind, the Goodreads Deals are a welcome addition as it saves them both time and money. As the company has access to past reading history, the recommendations from the service are catered to suit its users taste. Consumers can select their favorite genres, follow authors and pin books with the "Want to Read" option. In doing so, they can assist the service in providing them fresh material at the best price possible.

Goodreads Deals is only available to the company's US consumers currently but it hopes to expand in the near future -- giving more efficient access to cheap eBook offers.
