With the rise of smartphone use, many websites have now adopted responsive designs and mobile-friendly formats, but viewing ads on a smartphone often remains a challenge. Most ads are presented horizontally in a banner format, but Juice Mobile is hoping to make a change to this with a new kind of vertical video content that won't require a phone's position to be re-oriented for viewing.
15-second mobile videos are set to be viewable on both iOS and Android devices, taking note of the fact that most people hold their phones naturally in this way.
In partnership with PHD Worldwide, Juice Mobile is working to create a new advertising campaign for the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission using this smartphone video format.
