Russell Simmons is a hip-hop mogul and has partnered with music entrepreneur Steve Rifkind to reveal ADD52. ADD52 is a web portal that is designed to help emerging artists. ADD52 is named after the duo's All Def Digital company, and the project is set to be a 52-week initiative.
Each week one single and video will be debuted from an unsigned artists for an entire year. The aim is to gain exposure for these unsigned artists in hopes that they will receive a record deal.
