Adam Lippes Resort 2014 is serving an elevated vision of American sportswear in an attempt to reinvent the designer’s career. The collection is well endowed with track pants that undergo makeovers of silk twill featuring an allover floral print inspired by Peter Dayton’s bold artwork.

Blooms seem to be the overall theme of the collection, while a tuxedo coat sneaks its way for the win. Delicate lace and neoprene prove to be a match made in heaven and re-embroidered details make the materials pop even more.

Fringe inlays appear throughout the collection as well, adding a feminine slink to tiered skirts and slip-dresses. Other highlights include wide-legged culottes cut from white leather, as well as a crisp, tailored summer suit, also in white. As a whole, the collection is a successful outing.
