Abstract artworks such as those captured in the Across the Volumes series may not be new and exciting, but they are still utterly beautiful, making it hard not to appreciate. The vibrant clouds of color were created by dropping industrial paint tints into 200-gallon fish tanks. Yet they look more like natural storms of manmade bombs.
The Across the Volumes series was created by Kim Keever, an artist living and working in New York City. She is known for her work with fish tanks, but in a more picturesque way. She writes, "The abstracts are like a blank canvas with paint randomly poured on it--only composed in the 3-D world of water and photographed."
