Ladies, listen up—we do enough damage to our social environment with our irritability and short fuses when our monthly curse comes rolling in—we don’t need to damage our physical environments as well.

You may have already heard of Diva Cups or reusable cloth pads, but to a lot of us, that just sounds too unsanitary. The good news is that there are organic tampons too which have a lot less impact on the environment than standard tampons and pads. Organic tampons are made of unbleached cotton and sold at health food stores and bigger grocery chains.
