After a painful breakup with his wife, Ian Usher, a British immigrant to Australia, decided to auction everything he owns on e-Bay starting June 22. You can find detailed sections on Lifestyle, House and Contents, Vehicles, Friends, and Job, all of which are included as part of the auction. According to Usher, “On the day it’s all sold and settled, I intend to walk out of my front door with my wallet in one pocket and my passport in the other, nothing else at all. My current thoughts are to then head to the airport, and ask at the flight desk where the next flight with an available seat goes to, and to get on that and see where life takes me from there”. Is this the beginning of Web 3.0? Are we really putting our life on-line literally?
