High Class Robbery, Howitzweissbach’s whimsical lookbook ad campaign mixes creative set design with equally imaginative styling. The German duo, made up of designers Eva Howitz and Frieder Weissbach, focus on “functionality and simplicity above all else.”

Lightweight fabrics give the featured clothing a relaxed and comfortable looking fit while the bright colours of the pieces add vitality to the photographs. The oversized fit of the clothes as well as youthful cuts transform the starring model into the role of Paper Bag Princess. While the clothes offer a lot of movement, the static and fixed setting fuses origami inspirations along with modern installation art ideals. The location of the setting is somewhat vague and mystical giving it the transcendent and non-specific quality that many long for when looking at a fashion forward editorial.
