The European cultural capital of next year would have to be Ruhrgebiet as it is home to a wonderful festival called RUHR2010. This event is host to the longest table in the world—60km long!

The festival table will be located on one of Europe’s most frequented highways, the A40, and it will be made of 25,000 single tables. More than 1.5 million visitors are expected to bear witness to this phenomenon.
