If you have witnessed the warp speed of dial-up, then this mind-boggling carpet by Richard Hutten dubbed 'Playing With Tradition' provokes reminiscing that may give some chills.

Caught in a dimension between traditional and digital, the hand-knotted wool carpet looks like a picture that failed to load halfway to the floor. This could actually be how older generations feel in our rapidly-changing over-computerized world.

The remarkable art piece is part of the Strawberry Fields project, which presents unconventional rug creations of artists and designers from widely different cultures and backgrounds. Irregular forms and sculptural surfaces are some of the inspiring details of these carpets, all of which are produced in limited edition in India and Nepal.
