Gene Simmons in Dr. Pepper's 'Trust me I’m a Doctor' Campaign

The “Trust Me I’m A Doctor” campaign from Dr. Pepper has been pretty effective, and has been getting a decent amount of viral buzz whenever they have introduced their latest celebrity ‘doctor’ to promote their soda.

Gene Simmons from KISS is the latest to be added to the campaign, being touted as Dr. Love, as he promotes the new Dr. Pepper Cherry soda.

The first “Dr.” to appear in the ads was Kelsey Grammar, aka Dr. Frasier Crane, followed by basketball great Julius Erving (Dr. J).

How long is it going to take Dr. Pepper to cull the ranks of the medical dramas to add their next doctor? Maybe they’re too tame for the doctor campaign.
