Philips has been busy with 3D research and development. The company is currently running a demo of their 3D WOWzone, a gigantic 132inch (335 cm) multi-screen 3D wall. The Future Of Things web site estimates that it will cost no less than $100,000 so, buying one for the Super Bowl and then taking it back is out of the picture. The novel aspect of this 3D system is that glasses are not required.

Not only is this spectacular design super-cool, but it is blazing the trail for new innovations to come in the 3D TV world. The WOWzone represents a whole new take on 3D presentations, by allowing users to potentially watch tv without the nuisance of the special accompanying glasses.
