A cool new 3D animation technique is so simple and easy to master that an non-experienced user is able to animate their own image and upload it and use it in a game.
The process requires a simple body scan - within minutes users can get in the game with an animated version of themselves portrayed on screen.
A 3D animation technique that could take the hard work out of acting has been developed by German researchers. It allows a high-resolution 3D scan of one person to be pasted on to another person's movements.
