30 Minimalist Designs

Stripped down to their most elemental form, minimalist designs are contemporary, clean and sleek. Straight lines, sharp corners and little or no ornamentation are all indicators of this design approach. The iconic architect Mies van der Rohe described his outlook on design as “less is more,” and this describes minimalism perfectly. Usually black or white, this style is decidedly suited for the most modern of interiors. In this collection of unfussiness we see fantastically simple bathroom fixtures, seating, fireplaces and even pet homes. There are faceless watches, chainless bicycles and even an entire set of knives that store one inside of the other to avoid cluttering up the kitchen. Via: trendhunter |
