Joshua Ben Longo is a Brooklyn, New York-based artist with a good sewing machine and a unique world view. He likes monsters, which is quickly evident in a visit to his Longoland website. His wool felt Monster Skin Rug is just one of his many creations. He also makes furry monsters sporting anatomically-correct bums and upholsters chairs with interesting textures, including, ‘monster skin. ‘ Longo has just returned from Paris where he participated in a group show: Noveaux Monstres at the Exit Fesitval in Creteil, France.  Longoland is the name of the outlet for my (Joshua Ben Longo) personal work which includes sculpture, environments, and drawing, but not limited to. I have exhibited worldwide and featured in magazines and books nationally and internationally. I work as a drawing/3d instructor at Pratt Institute and graphic & product design consultant. I am looking to do jingles for commercials.
