It will take two years, but Germany's Volkswagen (VW) plans to offer a hybrid version for all its models. Martin Winterkorn, CEO of VW, has confirmed that the company is currently working on a small hybrid that will be introduced into the marketplace â€œfairly quickly.â€

Implications - It is important that if you do purchase a hybrid car, you know exactly how it works. The Monsters and Critics website has stated that Volkswagen will be planning on creating a micro-hybrid system where the battery is charged by braking.
