Volkswagen to Offer A Hybrid Version of Every Model by 2010

It will take two years, but Germany’s Volkswagen (VW) plans to offer a hybrid version for all its models. Martin Winterkorn, CEO of VW, has confirmed that the company is currently working on a small hybrid that will be introduced into the marketplace “fairly quickly.”
(President Bush almost plugged an electrical cord into the hydrogen tank of Ford’s hydrogen-electric plug-in hybrid at the White House recently, so caviat emptor).
