The Standard hotels celebrate the new year with a nod to High School stereotypes in their 4th annual Staff Calendar that looks like a yearbook from the 80s.

Real staff from each of the Standards’ home towns were cast in a shoot by photographer Michael Elins on location at The Standard, Downtown LA.

The retro-looking calendar features stereotypes such as the nerd, the stoner, the jocks, the activist, the cheerleaders, the prom queen, the bully, the heartthrob and more.

The calendar is sent as a gift to the hotel’s regular guests. However, the Standard is making a few of the calendars available for sale for $20.

I used to work at the Standard LA! I know the girls in photo 1, Miss May in Photo 2, the hunk in Photo 4, Tasha in Photo 6, and the far right 'teacher' in Photo 8. They do this every year... and all of it is shot on location at the hotel. The teacher's lounge is the employee cafeteria, the bathroom is the employee bathroom... so fun!
