Viktor & Rolf Designs for Samsonite's Black Label Collection

Viktor & Rolf is set to liven up Samsonite’s Black Label Collection this 2009.  The design duo will design beauty cases, boarding bags and travel totes in soft-edged pieces.

As Viktor & Rolf’s designs are way too far from conventional, expect surreal Samsonite travel set that is in the shape of violins , cow bells or Russian dolls.

Rolf Snoeren narrates, “We are working on the idea of ‘happy travel’ - trying to do something more naïve and personal.  A lot of luggage is very technical and impersonal - it’s a challenge.”
