New innovations seem to, quite literally, be popping up everywhere. This slide show features some really unique pop-up designs, from pop-up books for adults featuring celebrities and architecture, to actual homes and rooms that “pop-up” into full-scale, usable models. Some of these innovations fascinate us as they appeal to our inner child, the old memories of our own elementary school pop-up books rushing back to us. Others speak to our need for speedy fulfillment, having something as big as a house practically on demand. The rest fascinate our curious side, the need to search for new and cutting edge designs, to stimulate and broaden our vision of what is possible, ultimately confirming the notion that possibilities in novel design truly are endless.
