These fashion trends from 2008 are gone, hopefully for good. The three trends I’m glad to see go are the skinny jeans for men (I hate the word skinny), the moustache (save it for Halloween night) and women dressed in feathery outfits (Big Bird and other “Sesame Street” puppets should be the only creatures wearing fur and feathers).

Here are the 10 fashion faux pas that Stephanie McGrath is happy to say “Sayonara!” to in her fashionism.ca column:

1. Rolled-up loose jeans with heels or flats
2. The angled bob
3. Gladiator sandals
4. Skinny jeans on men
5. Dressing as though you were a bird or furry creature
6. Military wear
7. Bang fever
8. The Moustache
9. The popped collar and angled haircut
10. The hippie headband
