Fans of rubber footwear like Crocs can now slip their feet into something a little more eco-friendly with the biodegradable 01Ms.
Produced by the Spanish company One Moment, the 01Ms are made a from soft vegetable-based plastic that is injected into a mold. The shoes feature a rubber-like, anti-slip sole and, although they're 100 percent biodegradable, are tough enough to stand up to dirt and rainy weather. The shoes are also easily cleaned and can be hosed down or thrown in the laundry with other clothes.
The 01Ms are available in a variety of colors including lime green, pink, black, white, and blue. Best of all, when you're finished with them, they can be shredded, thrown in a compost bin where they'll be completely broken down in just six months leaving no trace behind.
