When it comes to the zeitgeist of contemporary pop culture and business, there are few idioms more universally pervasive than that of the zombie invasion.

From film and fashion to literature and even advertising, the archetype of the undead seems to hold within it a morbid, macabre and yet altogether mesmerizing quality. What makes this cultural phenomenon even more fascinating, however, is how effortlessly it is able to breathe new life into existing products and memes much in the same way that a LEGO-fied tribute can.

So while the thought of a post-apocalyptic world where a dwindling number of survivors are inexorably overrun by the teeming hordes of a flesh-eating zombie invasion might seem counterintuitive to sound business innovation, you can rest assured that this is one cultural phenomenon that is here to stay.
