VW Launches ‘TDI Truth or Dare’ to Rebrand Diesel Engines

Diesel cars haven’t always been associated with fun and sportiness, but VW’s ‘TDI Truth or Dare’ website is hoping to change that. The website is meant to promo the 2009 VW Jetta TDI by illustrating not only its benefits to the environment over a standard gas engine, but the inherent fun the driver will have owning one.

With fun videos like the one above, which pairs up a 2009 VW Jetta TDI against a Toyota Prius, the VW ‘TDI Truth or Dare’ site proves that green can be fun too. And as Motor Authority points out, VW has listed the 2009 VW Jetta TDI’s racing accomplishments, green credentials, tax credits, and comparative benefits over hybrids in order to give eco-minded individuals another automotive option.
