The twisted turban looks are a perfect example of fashion intercepting with culture. I'm particularly taken with the multi-coloured turbans (think Carrie Bradshaw in 'Sex and the City 2'). I think the look adds a bit of fun and freshness without going overboard.
Implications - While turbans were once misunderstood as a cultural phenomenon that was unwelcome in the western world, they have since made a graceful transition into mass society. The embrace of cultural looks within North America continue to aid companies in appearing worldly.
