The top September 2015 social media trends include a variety of high profile collaborations between bloggers and brands. The unique marketing move is often a way for brands to create traction online by borrowing from established social media figures' audiences.

A first example of this is the recent partnership between YouTube star Grace Helbig and the Marriott Hotel chain. It is said that Estee Lauder executives noticed the legions of Smalls fans seeking the origin of the shade in the model's Instagram comment section.
