Now that it’s been confirmed Scarlett Johansson will play Black Widow in Iron 2, we’re bracing ourselves for a surge in popularity for leather and latex.
“The Black Widow is the name of two fictional super-spy characters in the Marvel Comics universe,” Wikipedia explains of Scarlett Johansson’s new role, adding that the original Natalia Romanova (AKA Natasha Romanoff) character dates back to April 1964 when she appeared in Tales of Suspense #52.
