Reinventing Retro Games

Pacman has been played for more than 10 billion hours since it was released in 1981, but we are still not bored of it! The Pacman Championship Edition has been released for the XBox Live, and it is a brilliant new take on the classic.

Space Invaders Extreme has also been released for the Nintendo DS, PSP and XBox Live. It too is taking the gaming world by storm.

1980s game remakes, and originals, are in fact more popular now than they were in their release years, but can they ever really beat an original? I don’t think so. Look at the original Frogger for example!
