Trend Hunter celebrates the life of Bettie Page, the original pin-up girl and glamour model, with a cluster of all things burlesque.

One of the earliest Playmates of the Month for Playboy magazine, Bettie Page is famous for her pin-up photos and fetish modeling.

And while the blogosphere is currently abuzz about the new Diesel Spring/Summer 2009 ad featuring foot fetish, Bettie Page has done it way back in the 1950s and was the first famous bondage model. 

As you can see by the cluster of trends below, burlesque and fetish has become a big part of our culture, from ad campaigns and art to pin-up couture fashion.
