Meal Serving, From Political Satire to Food Art

At my house the dinner plates have always been the plain solid-white glass that made me fill my plate more just to cover up its boring surface. These peculiar dinner plates would’ve made me eat the same—only faster.

Some of the designs and concepts behind these peculiar dinner plates are enough to have anybody go bananas about dinner. They have anatomical plates (with hearts and veins), geographical plates (icebergs or mountains) and even plates that have spots for your drink.

I’d rather eat food from these peculiar dinner plates than from a silver platter!
