'Thriller-Live' Searches for Young Lookalike

Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ is the best-selling album of all time, so it’s no wonder that London producers are adapting the iconic pop record into a musical. ‘Thriller - Live’ will stage its first performances at the West End’s Lyric Theatre on January 2, 2009, with an official opening on January 21.

The musical will feature a number of unforgettable Michael Jackson songs. According to Playbill News, ‘Thriller - Live’ will feature “I Want You Back,” “I’ll Be There,” “Show You The Way To Go,” “Can You Feel It,” “Rock With You,” “She’s Out Of My Life,” “Thriller,” “Beat It,” “Ben,” “ABC,” “Man in the Mirror,” “Dirty Diana,” “Billie Jean” and “Earth Song”.

‘Thriller - Live’ boasts a production team that’s intimately familiar with Michael Jackson’s work. Paul Walden and Derek Nicol for Flying Music are producing the West End season, and the musical is backed by Sony BMG Music Entertainment UK with Adrian Grant for Key Concerts.
