From Shipping Container Shopping Centers to Minimalist Dessert Bars

From its revamped downtown core to the glitz and glamour of The Strip, these Las Vegas' innovations showcase the many different sides of Sin City.

Once the heart of Las Vegas, the downtown area still contains much of the city's original charm in the form of the high-flying Fremont Street Experience. However, there are also some new additions to the neighborhood such as Downtown Container Park, which is a unique shopping complex made entirely out of old shipping containers. Not only is the complex an architectural marvel, but it also boasts a variety of exceptional restaurants and bars such as Bin 702.

Beyond downtown, the rest of Las Vegas is also proving itself to be an equally compelling destination for tourists looking to explore beyond The Strip. One of these unique Las Vegas innovations is The Arts Factory, which is an old warehouse that has been converted into a series of galleries and unique retail spaces. After taking in some local art, visitors can head next door to the Cockroach Theater -- operating out of the Art Square Theatre -- to take in an intimate production in the cozy 99-seat venue.

With so many unique sights to see, attendees at Trend Hunter’s Las Vegas innovation conference will have no shortage of things to do.
