BMW Recycled BBQ Eco Racer

The 2008 LA Auto Show Design Challenge was the coming out party for this BMW hydrogen-powered supercar.

It wins the label of environmentally friendly as its made of reconstructed barbecue lids and oil barrels. This jet-like racer has gel-nylon wheels that allow the tires to be airless and retreaded when needed. It’s truly an amazing and inspiring concept from BMW Designworks, USA.
