Hip-Hop fashion has and is continuously evolving over time; one of the main staples in refining and owning a particular look however is in one's hip-hop accessories. Accessories like hats, chains, watches and bracelets have always had a presence in hip-hop fashion -- but their particular style has changed relative to the times.

Snapbacks have seen a huge revival since their popularity in the 1990s; they were unfit for looks during the 2000s, but are still popular in the 2010s. Chains, bracelets and watches have changed in style, size and material. Gold accessories have seen a revival since the 1980s, after silver and platinum predominantly dominated the 2000s. Other accessories like backpacks and headphones have become more so adapted as fashion pieces as opposed to items only seen for their functional purposes.
